How did others evaluate the course?
“My colleagues from TNK-BP who had participated in this course earlier recommended it to me. What struck me most about the course – in a positive sense – was the approach. The lecturers were a unique combination of specialists with an academic background who provided the theory, and top-level field specialists from the industry. This gave the programme a highly practical dimension, which was emphasized by the business case we worked on during the course. I am involved in large projects development at TNK-BP so many situations discussed during the course were familiar to me. Most of my fellow participants were also from the gas industry, yet they all had different backgrounds. I saw this as added value: we exchanged views and talked about all kinds of relevant issues and topics some of which I do not encounter every day in my work, but which are nevertheless part of the global energy picture. The course gave the opportunity to compare experiences with colleagues from Shell and other EU companies. It was valuable to discuss and work together seeking solutions for real-life issues that our companies meet every day.”
