Table of Contents

Aim of the course

The first day of this course gives participants an enhanced understanding of the current GTS service package, the process of balancing and the day – to – day dispatching process. At the end of this first day you will be able to deliver your traded commodity to your consumer through the grid.

The second day of this course will be a seminar (Developments in Northwest European Gas Transport) which you can follow separately from the first day of this course. This day is developed as an unique opportunity to get the newest insights and developments for the GTS with the hands-on experience of experts from GTS. After the second day you will be aware of the latest developments and you will apply this knowledge in your daily work.

The seminar Developments in Northwest European Gas Transport is also very suitable for alumni of both the Gas Transport & Shipping course and the New Dutch Balancing Regime course.

Alumnus testimonial

How did others evaluate the course?

“When I started this course, I was relatively new to the business. Someone recommended the course to me and I must say, I am glad he did. The GTSC gave me a good introductory overview of the world of gas transport and shipping and filled in major gaps in my knowledge. What I liked about the course is that it was not too detailed but detailed enough to build on in your job. Everything was easy to understand even for someone like me who, at the time, did not know very much about the ins and outs of GTS. Another aspect that I really appreciated was that I was able to meet fellow-participants from many different companies from within and outside the direct gas transport chain. Exchanging views with them was very useful in terms of both knowledge and networking. And, last but not least, it was a short course. Just a few days. It enabled me to gain a lot of relevant knowledge in a short period of time. And I like efficiency...”
