On the 22nd of October, the 9th International Supervisory Board (ISB) Meeting was held in Amsterdam. This meeting takes place annually in order to discuss the progress of Energy Delta Institute. Representatives of all founding partners of EDI were present during this meeting.
This year, the ISB meeting was combined with EDI’s 1st Partner Event. After the board meeting, associate partners joined the session in order to talk about EDI’s activities and the commitment to the partner organizations as well as to discuss the developments in the gas industry.
Both meetings took place in Sofitel Amsterdam The Grand. Mr Kramer (CEO N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie) was appointed to chair this year’s ISB meeting. From Russia, Mr Khomyakov (Deputy Chairman Gazprom Management Committee), was accompanied by Mrs Tokareva (Gazprom), Mr Kislenko (NIIGazEkonokima), Mrs Rumyantseva (Gasunie Representation Office) and Mr Ivanov (Interpreter). Furthermore, Mr Dam and Mr Vermeulen (N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie), Mr Lankhorst (GasTerra), Mr van Lamoen (Shell), Mr Peters (RWE) and Mr Duppen (RUG) had a seat in this meeting. EDI’s president Mr Jepma informed the board about EDI’s activities, developments and plans, accompanied by Mr de Jong (Vice President Costumer Relations), Mr Hoenders (secretary ISB meeting) and Mrs Boven (logistics).
Mr Dam (member Executive Board EDI) chaired EDI’s Partner Event. Mr De Jong (Essent N.V.), Mr Bokhoven (EBN), Mr Houe (DONG), Mr Bosman (Electrabel), Mr Postma (advisor Executive Board EDI) and Mr Joosten (senior Expert EDI) joined the meeting together with the Founding Partners of EDI. Since Electrabel and DONG joined EDI most recently, short presentations were held by the representatives of both enterprises. During this meeting Prof. Jepma also shed some light at the developments at EDI .
After these two meetings, a social programme was organized for all participants. The visit to the Hermitage Museum perfectly expressed the history and relationship between the Hermitage in St. Petersburg and the new subsidiary in Amsterdam. The guided tour at the museum was followed by a private dinner cruise along the canals of the Dutch capital city and was comfortably concluded at the Hooghoudt café.
