EDI, in cooperation with Management Development Institute (MDI) in Gurgaon, India, developed a Management Development programme which focused on Economics and Management of Gas E&P and Development of Sustainable Energy Sources.

Mid-April 2010 EDI welcomed a delegation of 60 Indian senior specialists from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) in Groningen. They followed the programme which was part of their two-week-tour around West Europe focused on the European view on oil and gas exploration and production. EDI offered a diverse programme to the ONGC delegation.The variety of site visits to the UGS facilities in Norg, the Dispatching centre of the Gasunie headquarters and a trip to the WTC at Amsterdam airport, hosted by the hub for international business Holland Gateway, was particular appreciated.

The whole programme was highly evaluated and lead to academic discussions between the guests and the Dutch professionals they met, which opened possibilities for future developments and cooperation’s.
