From 25 -27 August EDI representatives visited OAO Gazprom and Gubkin University in Moscow. Several meetings with the management representatives and experts took place. The visit to OAO Gazprom was a regular one and concerned amongst others the participation of candidates of Gazprom in new EDI 2009/2010 Open Market and Master programmes.

The visit to Gubkin concerned a renewed acquaintance of Robert Badoux, now vice president of EDI, and prof. Konstantin Milovidov. Topics were recent developments at EDI, future cooperation between Gubkin and EDI in the light of these new developments and a contribution to Gubkin's traditional seminar "Developments of Natural Gas markets". Also the experiences with the mutual exchange programme of students between Gubkin and the University of Groningen were touched upon.
