As of July 1, 2010 professor Catrinus Jepma, will step down as president of the Energy Delta Institute (EDI). He will remain active as scientific director of the EDIaal programme. The EDIaal project is partly made possible by a subsidy granted by SNN, together with the European Fund for regional Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. It is devoted to developing training programmes on the rol of natural gas in a sustainable future.
Mrs. Denisa Kasová will stay on as Managing Director of EDI BV.
Mr. Tans van Kleef will succeed professor Jepma as president of EDI on the same date. The last ten years Mr. Tans van Kleef acted as manager of the UNECE Gas Centre based in Geneva, Switzerland.
