The youngest generation of decision makers in the field of energy will assemble during the Young Energy Delta Convention (YoungEDC) to discuss a variety of energy related subjects. YoungEDC is initiated by Young Energy Valley to boost the commitment of young energy professionals.
During YoungEDC, the energy professionals will be divided into groups to work on real-life cases submitted by companies such as GasTerra, TNO, Gasunie and NAM/Shell. In this way, the young professionals will get a chance to discuss problems which they are not (yet) confronted with during their day-to-day jobs. The organisation of this event aims at a minimum of 150 participants from energy related companies and governments, but also scientists and university alumni working in the field of energy.
The congress takes place parallel to the Energy Delta Convention on the 17th and 18th of November 2009. Participants of YoungEDC don’t have to be afraid to miss out on the keynote lecture of the Energy Delta Convention. All YoungEDC activities are scheduled in such a way that they don’t overlap with the key notes. Participants can also join the Convention Dinner at the Martinikerk in Groningen. Entrance to YoungEDC is free. Please register via the website: www.energyconvention.nl/yedc.
