Together with the University of Groningen, EDI organizes a Summer School for PhDs. Energy transition can neither be discussed in isolation from other international and national concerns, nor in isolation from economic, ecological, societal and geopolitical developments. The 2012 Summer School intends to tackle this complexity by taking an interdisciplinary approach to the issue of the energy transition. Three perspectives are facilitated: the perspectives of Natural Sciences, Economics and International Relations. They are brought together so as to lay bridges between the different areas and find synergy in possible solutions.
