Energy Delta Institute traditionally supports the initiative of the International Busines Congress (IBC) – “Youth Day: Energy of the Future” that brings together industry experts and talented students from around the world to transfer knowledge about the energy business and find new ideas and solutions.
In 2020 the project is proceeding in an online format. During the first stage of the project 270 students from 75 universities worldwide were enrolled in the Virtual Academy. EDI contributed with the two webinars on Molecules vs. Electrons and CCUS from Leon Stille, General manager of EDI.
During 3-11, December, 2020 the top 50 rated students were invited to demonstrate their professional skills and soft competences in various interactive formats: team building and business game, as well as to meet and communicate with top managers of the leading energy companies.
The students from the two Dutch universities – University of Groningen and Technical University of Delft – were rated top 2 and 4 in the Virtual Academy rating and would also join the last set of events this week. Leon Stille is a member of the Jury Council of the Business Game Youth Day 2020 and will present a special prize from EDI – free enrollment in one of international energy trainings from EDI Portfolio 2021.
