Together with the University of Groningen, Skolkovo Energy Center and Skoltech Center for Energy Science and Technology we organise the High Level Hydrogen Research Workshop to discuss scientific cooperation in the field of hydrogen between the Netherlands and Russia. The mission is funded by the Dutch Research Council Science Diplomacy Fund (NWO – SDF) and is supported by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Russia. The first session will take place online on 30 September followed by an offline workshop and networking dinner in Moscow on 20-21 December, 2021.
About the mission
The purpose of this workshop is to enhance scientific cooperation in the field of hydrogen between the Netherlands and Russia.
Proposed research workshop emphasises the need to discuss a broader range of hydrogen and other ‘molecules of the future’ applications next to the focus on existing H2 related research activities in the context of energy transition. To reach this goal we organise several sessions, dinners, and networking events with scientists in the field of hydrogen from both countries. When successful the Russian scientists will be invited to the Netherlands for a follow-up meeting and to take the next steps in research cooperation such as grant applications and educational projects.
A select group of researchers with extensive experience in the field of hydrogen from the Netherlands and Russia will be invited to this workshop.
