2016 - International Partner Meeting
On 13 April, the Energy Delta Institute (EDI) organised the International Partner Meeting 2016, for all partners of the institute. EDI was honoured that the first part of the meeting was being held at the headquarters of founding partner Shell.
During the formal part of this annual event, Shell and Gazprom presented their views on the theme ‘The New Energy World, New Players’. Furthermore, Tatiana Mitrova (Head of the Oil and Gas Department at The Energy Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences) discussed the latest developments in the Energy World, and James Ball (Special Advisor, Tachebois Ltd) examined ‘The Dilemmas of LNG in the next era’. The formal part ended with a debate in which all participants had the opportunity to share their views and questions on the theme.
The second part was at the Louwman Museum in The Hague; home to the world’s oldest private collection of motor cars, compiled by two generations of the Louwman family. The participants were offered a tour through this majestic building with a beautiful collection of cars from different decades. The day ended with a private dinner at the museum, with lots of networking opportunities.
EDI would like to thank all of their partners and other participants for their continuing support and interest.
