Bert Stuij is Vice President Innovation at EDI, Manager National Programmes / Energy at the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl). In his career Bert has been responsible for a wide rage of programmes in the fields of renewable energy, energy innovation, energy transition, carbon capture and storage, biobased economy and gas and he is managing a team of 100 professionals. As Programme Director and founder of the International Executive ProgrammevEnergy Transition and Innovation, Bert guarantees the high standard quality of the programme.
Kornelis Blok is a Director at Ecofys. He has a background in physics. In 1984, he co-founded Ecofys, a leading international energy and climate consultancy. Dr. Blok has extensive research and consultancy experience in the field of energy efficiency and clean energy production. After holding a professorship in Sustainable Energy at the University of Utrecht for 15 years, Dr. Blok became professor for Energy Systems Analysis at the Delft University of Technology in 2015. He was a lead author for the Third and Fourth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the institution that was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007.
Khaled Soufani is Deputy Director Executive MBA and a Senior Teaching Faculty in Finance at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. He holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and a PhD in Financial Economics. He has published extensively in the area of financial management, corporate restructuring, M&A, private equity, venture capital and family business, and also the financial and economic affairs of small-medium sized enterprises. Before joining academia, Khaled Soufani worked in investment banking in the area of bond and money market trading.
Hans Jørgen Koch is Executive Director at Nordic Energy Research, the platform for cooperative energy research and policy development under the auspices of Nordic Council of Ministers. Prior to that he held the position of Deputy Permanent Secretary of State, International Director General, The Energy Agency, Ministry of Climate, Energy and Building, Denmark. He has been a leading voice in the international energy arena since he was appointed Deputy Permanent Secretary, Director General in the department of The Ministry of Energy in Denmark in 1982.
Christian Redl is Senior Associate European Energy Coordination and part of the European Energy Coordination team at Agora Energiewende where he focuses on power market design in the context of the Pentalateral Energy Forum region (Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands and Switzerland). From 2012 to 2013, Christian worked for an international energy consulting firm in the Netherlands focusing on electricity market design, power system planning and renewables integration.
